Assessment of Genetic Diversity for Cercospora Leaf Spot (CLS) Resistance in Mung Bean [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek] using SSR Markers

چکیده
Background: CLS causes severe yield loss in mung bean. To sustain bean health, it is vital to include alleles that may be useful resisting CLS. Therefore, the present study, 90 genotypes were included for assessing genetic diversity using 66 SSR markers resistance. Methods: The crop was regularly monitored presence of pathogen and development disease natural field conditions during pre rabi 2018 2019. screening assessments germplasms carried out a 1-5 rating scale. Total genomic DNA isolated from leaf samples all genotyping performed. data analysed by GenAlEx 6.51b2 TASSEL 5.0 software programme parameters. Result: A moderate molecular observed panel population as wide variation showed range 80 bp 300 with average PIC value 0.40. maximum percentage polymorphic loci 75.76% resistance followed 56.06% moderately resistant genotypes. percentages Shannon information among within found 44% 56%, respectively. archaeopterx tree differentiated into two major clusters, i.e., cluster I II, which again sub divided different sub-clusters sub-sub clusters. These findings indicate that, germplasm used study could enrich local gene pool provide breeding.

Two forms of Fd-NADP+ oxidoreductase (FNR) isoproteins have been purified and characterized from the first foliage leaves of 5d-old mung bean (Vigna radiata). They could be separated by either Mono Q HR 515 or ferredoxin (Fd)-Sepharose 48 affinity columns. Based on immunoblot analysis and N-terminal amino acid sequences, one form resembles the FNR purified from photosynthetic tissues of higher ...

Cold-induced changes in vivo in the cytoplasmic pH of suspension-cultured cells of mung bean (Vigna radiata [L.] Wilczek) were investigated by fluorescence-ratio imaging cryomicroscopy with special reference to the variations in the chilling sensitivity of cells during the growth cycle. Because of the preferential localization of the fluorophore in the cytoplasm under specified conditions and t...

Mung bean (Vigna radiate (L.) Wilczek) is an important traditional food legume crop, with high economic and nutritional value. It is widely grown in China and other Asian countries. Despite its importance, genomic information is currently unavailable for this crop plant species or some of its close relatives in the Vigna genus. In this study, more than 103 million high quality cDNA sequence rea...

A pot culture experiment was conducted in mung bean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek.) genotype PUSA Baisakhi to test the effect of sodium arsenate and thiourea (TU). Arsenic at 25 μM caused significant inhibition of growth as indicated by reduced shoot and root dry weight and reduction in photosynthetic capacity. Significant decline in ascorbate peroxidase, dehydroascorbate reductase and glutathion...
